Deborah Leigh: For those who are new with us tonight, we covered one of the Hearts cards as an example of reading cards by this method last week. Deborah Leigh: I'd like to do that again for you. DarylPLD: For all of you who were not here last week click on bear she has the link to a site were we have posted the lessons Deborah Leigh: We covered the Four of Hearts (all of the fours are negative cards, by the way)... Deborah Leigh: I can TELL you that the Four of Hearts means "jealousy, envy, even hatred"... Deborah Leigh: But you can "feel" the essence of that card by thinking of a time in your life when you were truly jealous, envious or hateful in your feelings toward someone else. Deborah Leigh: You lost a job...or a lover... Deborah Leigh: FEEL that horrible, gnawing feeling... Deborah Leigh: Do you feel it? DarylPLD: yep Barbie (PLD): I do... Legend PLD: yes Deborah Leigh: I always use that one as an example to start with, because it is so universal among people. Deborah Leigh: It's a tough thing to feel...and to struggle with. Particularly when attached to the Ten of Hearts, which is pure, true love. Deborah Leigh: I always thought that Life was supposed to be filled with happiness...like going to an amusement park. If you weren't happy, something wasn't right about Life. Deborah Leigh: For instance, those who read tarot cards. Deborah Leigh: I have tried to learn Tarot...it's way too complicated for me. Deborah Leigh: I wish I could...it's a wonderful system. Barbie (PLD): I learned Deb's method first - and I don't see a need to learn anything else Deborah Leigh: That's VERY intuitive of you, things just coming to you...you're going to be excellent at this! Deborah Leigh: Life is a series of doors opening and closing, I've found...death needs to be interpreted as such in readings. koalabearPLD: nods Hanah: yes, thts what Ive heard..it means just the ending of a lesson in yer life Hanah: or can Deborah Leigh: My feeling would be that you've lead a life with a lot of endings attached, but new beginnings as well which you may not have been immediately aware of. Deborah Leigh: Oh very good...the ending of a lesson in your life! Deborah Leigh: My conception of what is "love", or "pain" or even the color "blue" may not even be close to yours. Deborah Leigh: But STAY with your own perceptions of these things...not mine! Deborah Leigh: It's crucial to your ability to be accurate with this method to go by what YOU feel about each card. Deborah Leigh: Next week, we're going to be practicing by combining the Hearts with the Spades...so do read the lessons Bear has posted! XiePiepld: goodie ! Deborah Leigh: The week after, we'll be adding the Suit of Diamonds and finally, the Clubs. Deborah Leigh: I don't want ANY of you to feel pressured as you learn this... Deborah Leigh: Some people grasp it very quickly...others need more time. It took me almost a year to really get it after my grandmother taught me. Deborah Leigh: What made me realize I was on the right track was when I conducted a reading for a friend who was thinking of aborting her pregnancy... Deborah Leigh: She'd had one baby with a serious congenital heart problem...the doctors told her not to conceive again. Deborah Leigh: Here I was, a new card reader...dying to test my ability! Deborah Leigh: She asked me if she should abort...I told her NOOOO! I could clearly see that her second baby would be perfectly healthy. Deborah Leigh: And that baby was, in fact, perfectly healthy at birth. Legend PLD: how wonderful koalabearPLD: coooooool Deborah Leigh: Oh yes, that was such a gratifying experience - for her and for ME! Barbie (PLD): I can imagine koalabearPLD: i love laying my hand on a womans tummy and telling her the sex of the baby and what its doing Deborah Leigh: You will do the same with your readings...I guarantee it! Barbie, you did readings for tons of clients... Legend PLD: wow Deborah Leigh: You know, how good it feels when they tell you later that you were Deborah Leigh: exactly right! koalabearPLD: yup Deborah Leigh: Being able to predict the sex of unborn children is highly intuitive... Deborah Leigh: And what's even more amazing, a lot of you already ARE very intuitive...you just haven't tapped into it enough yet. Deborah Leigh: The cards will help you focus and realize your potential intuitively.
